It FOREVER CHANGES our rural community with unimaginable POLLUTION, NOISE, and TRAFFIC!
More information on Urban traffic issues https://www.citylab.com/transportation/2018/09/citylab-university-induced-demand/569455/
o Spend $42 MILLION diverting funds for Oceanside's roads!
o NO significant traffic or emergency service Gains less than 1 min...
o Irreversible impacts to habitat and wildlife endangered species!
o Fractures Oceanside's rural neighborhoods for commuters traffic going to Hwy 15!
o “Induced Demand” is as urban planning concept that shows increasing roadway capacity ONLY encourages more people to drive, thus failing to improve congestion
We need your help to:
1) Email all Oceanside Council members at firstname.lastname@example.org with "NO MELROSE EXTENSION/LINK"
2) Email Guajome Park email@example.com. "Save our Park - No to Melrose Link!"
3)Give out information FLYERS (on RESOURCE page) to inform neighbors and friends about this poor use of our City money!
4) Attend important meetings at City Hall - Your voice matters!!
